Apps
The same extension, from browser to phone.
One account, one number, one shared history. You answer at the computer, carry on in the lift, and the call does not start again from scratch.
No installation is needed to get started.
Starting with nothing installed
The workspace is an address first.
Konvoice runs entirely in a recent browser, WebRTC included: the voice goes through the browser, not through a plug-in you have to install. It is the version we recommend for a first trial, and the one that self-service desks rely on.
Nothing to deploy
No package to get approved, no administrator rights to request. A URL, a sign-in, and a phone that rings.
The same partitioning
The browser session is a device identity like any other: it has its own credentials, and it is revoked on its own.
Voice in the tab
Microphone and speaker chosen in the app, USB headset recognised, ringing on a second device if you want it.
The apps
Five platforms, one identity.
Each installation gets its own device credential. Losing a phone therefore does not force a password change for the whole company: you revoke the device, and only that device.
iOS
Calls, voicemail, shared contacts and transfers, with the system’s own call notifications.
iOS 16 or later · iPhone and iPad
Android
The same app, with integration into the phone’s call log and a data-saving mode.
Android 10 or later
macOS
The full workspace, dialling from any application and the answer shortcut.
macOS 13 or later · Apple silicon and Intel
Windows
Per-user installation or silent MSI deployment, for managed estates.
Windows 10 22H2 or later · x64 and ARM64
Linux
.deb and .rpm packages, and an AppImage for machines not managed through a repository.
Debian 12, Ubuntu 22.04, Fedora 39 or later
Browser
Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. It is the same app, served rather than installed.
No installation · WebRTC
The cards marked on request are so for a simple reason: the store link is not yet published on this site, and we would rather say so than put up a button leading to a page that is not there. Write to us and we will tell you where to get the version for your platform.
The apps update themselves. A version reaching end of life warns thirty days before it stops connecting — never overnight.
A desk phone is not downloaded. It is plugged in, and it configures itself.
Automatic provisioning — Yealink, Fanvil, Grandstream, Snom, DECT
Physical handsets
Nothing to install, one address to hand over.
A phone out of the box receives its configuration from Konvoice: number, display name, line-status keys, directory and firmware updates. You do not type SIP credentials by hand, and you do not store them anywhere.
- Seven families of telephone recognised, plus DECT bases.
- Encrypted provisioning, one credential per device, never a shared account.
- A stolen handset is revoked from the console, without touching the others.
- The key layout follows the person, not the handset.
What changes when the line drops
The app does not go down with the internet.
This is the point of the house, and it applies to the apps as much as to the handsets: on a site with a Konvoice Edge, the devices on the local network keep calling each other, outage or no outage.
| Situation | Site handsets and apps | Calls to the outside |
|---|---|---|
| Everything is fine | Normal | Normal |
| Internet cut, Edge in place | Carry on | Failover to the backup line if there is one |
| Internet cut, no Edge | Interrupted | Interrupted |
| Mobile away from the site | Goes over the mobile network | Goes over the mobile network |
Questions
Before installing.
Do I have to install anything to try it?
Can I use my work number on my personal phone?
How do we deploy across a managed estate?
What happens when I lose my phone?
Is there a version for tablets and reception kiosks?
A rollout is prepared once.
Tell us how many extensions, across how many sites, with which devices. We hand you a deployment plan, not a brochure.
No commitment. No card number asked for.
